Our Story
EESTIN — the Environmental Ethics & Safety Training Institute Nigeria — was established in 2024 as a not-for-profit professional institute with a mandate to address the growing need for environmental education, occupational safety training, and digital skills development across Nigeria. Founded on the belief that sustainable national progress begins with informed, safety-conscious, and digitally capable citizens, EESTIN set out to close critical skills gaps at the community level.
Operating across FCT Abuja, Nasarawa State, and Imo State, EESTIN works in close partnership with the FCT Education Secretariat and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) to deliver accredited training programmes, community outreach, and digital certification pathways. Through strategic alliances with global certification bodies such as Certiport/Pearson VUE and sector organisations like HOSCON, EESTIN equips Nigerians with the credentials and competencies needed to succeed in a rapidly changing world.
As a multidisciplinary institution dedicated to education, training, advocacy, and capacity development, EESTIN advances sustainable development through strategic interventions in the Physical, Social, and Digital Environments.
From its inception, EESTIN set out to bridge critical skills gaps at the community level by operating through three specialised departments:

Together, these departments promote responsible citizenship, environmental sustainability, public safety, innovation, and digital empowerment as essential pillars of national development.
While pursuing a vision of nationwide expansion, EESTIN already operates across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nasarawa State, and Imo State, working in close partnership with the FCT Education Secretariat, the Nasarawa State Ministry of Education, and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) to deliver accredited training programmes, community outreach initiatives, and digital certification pathways.

Founder's Message
Welcome to the Environmental Ethics & Safety Training Institute, Nigeria (EESTIN).
EESTIN was born out of a deep conviction that sustainable national development can only be achieved when people are empowered with the right knowledge, skills, and values to positively influence their environment and communities.
As I reflected on the challenges facing our nation—environmental degradation, poor civic engagement, inadequate safety consciousness, and the growing digital skills gap—I became increasingly convinced that there was an urgent need for an institution that would respond holistically to these issues. That conviction led to the establishment of EESTIN in 2024.
Our mission is simple yet profound: to empower individuals and communities through environmental education, civic development, occupational safety training, and digital skills acquisition. We believe that every citizen, regardless of age or background, deserves the opportunity to acquire the competencies needed to thrive in an increasingly complex and technology-driven world.
Through our three specialised departments—the Physical Environment & Sanitation Department, the Social Environment & Civic Development Department, and the Digital Environment & Emerging Technologies Department—we are committed to nurturing responsible citizens, promoting safer and healthier communities, and preparing Nigerians for the opportunities of the digital future.
