EESTIN Marketplace
Where AI meets Nigeria's environment, ethics & safety problems
A marketplace where organisations find AI-built solutions to real problems — and where EESTIN students turn those problems into work they can be paid for. Built on the skills our students learn in AI Fluency.
How the Marketplace Works
Two sides, one purpose: use AI to solve real Nigerian problems in environment, ethics and safety.
Solutions on offer
EESTIN students — and EESTIN itself — post AI-built solutions to real environment, ethics and safety problems. Organisations browse them and buy the ones that solve their problem.
Many of these begin as a student's capstone: a real piece of work, built with AI, that EESTIN helps take to the organisations who need it.
Problems seeking solutions
Organisations and individuals post real problems they need solved. Students find them, and use what they learned in AI Fluency to build a solution — often as their capstone.
Over time, this becomes a living library of Nigeria's environment, ethics and safety problems — being solved, one at a time.
How It Will Work, Start to Finish
Follow one example all the way through. This is an illustration of how the marketplace will work — not a live listing, and no money changes hands here.
A problem is posted
An organisation posts a real problem they need solved, with a few simple details.
Posted by: A safety consultancy (illustration)
Sector: Health & Safety
The problem: “Our officers write site-inspection notes by hand. Turning them into proper audit reports takes hours. We need a faster way.”
Budget: e.g. ₦15,000–₦25,000
A student picks it up
An EESTIN student sees the problem and decides to solve it — often as their capstone. They use what they learned in AI Fluency: plan the work, build it with AI, check it against Nigerian conditions, and take responsibility for it.
The solution is listed
The finished solution is listed on the marketplace for organisations to find.
Solution: Site-inspection notes into a clean safety audit
Built by: An EESTIN student (illustration)
What it does: Turns rough inspection notes into a properly structured audit report, checked and fitted to Nigerian workplaces.
Price: e.g. ₦20,000
An organisation buys it
The organisation reviews the solution and buys it through the marketplace. (In the real marketplace, a button like the one below would start the purchase. Here it is only for show.)
It is delivered
The organisation receives the solution and puts it to work. The student is paid for what they built — real skill, turned into real value. EESTIN helps make the connection and keeps the exchange fair on both sides.
Prices shown are examples only. EESTIN does not promise any student will earn a particular amount, or earn at all — the marketplace is a place to offer your work, not a guarantee of income.
